What impacts do learning spaces have on your practice?

Each learning space is unique and therefore, many different learning experiences can occur. With this said, each learning space has a great impact on my teaching practices as they each enable me to educate students in differing ways. For example, the e-space enables me to facilitate knowledge seeking and sharing between students, as opposed to beyond the classroom which allows me to emerge students into the social environment to facilitate individual growth and the acquisition of knowledge.

What do you think the learning spaces of the future might entail?

I believe the learning spaces of the future will include extremely flexible learning environments that enable children to personalise their learning experiences.

As a result of EDFD459, what are you going to be taking into your own classroom?

I will be taking into my own classroom my knowledge for each learning space and the way in which they work. In particular, my knowledge for the liminal space will be useful when dealing with struggling students.
